Description
During his speech on wartime economy on June 13th, 2022, the President of the Republic asked industrials to "go faster, stronger, at minimum cost". The French defense ecosystem has to give itself the means to manufacture more, faster, on demand and on time. The transition to a wartime economy follows the gain of awareness of the breaches in our manufacturing capacity. France has the required manufacturing capacities, but it does not activate them. This masterclass on wartime economy will present these issues, the solutions brought by the Direction of Defence Industry (recently created within the DGA, Directorate General of Armament), as well as the tools supported by Bpifrance.
