Description
“Women’s mental health remains largely an unexplored territory,” noted the French National Assembly in a 2023 report. Adolescence, motherhood, menopause… certain stages of life expose women to specific challenges. Yet biological, social, cultural, and economic factors also play a major role, one that is still insufficiently studied and taken into account.
Drawing on the perspectives of researchers, experts, and startups, this session will provide an overview of women’s mental health and demonstrate why it must become a field of research and innovation in its own right. Gender-specific factors, prevention, care pathways, support, new digital tools: the challenge is to better understand in order to better prevent, diagnose, and support.
