Description
Praised for the diversity of its landscapes and climates, France remains the world’s leading tourist destination, attracting over 100 million international visitors a year. But climate change is radically reshaping the tourism landscape.
New destinations and new ways of travelling are already emerging, whilst certain long-established models are being disrupted. Faced with these changes, regions and industry professionals must adapt their strategies: diversifying activities, developing off-season tourism, restoring sites to their natural state, evolving service offerings and managing visitor flows more effectively.
How can we sustainably preserve the appeal of destinations whilst strengthening the resilience of tourism businesses? This session will explore practical measures to support the sector’s transformation and devise models better suited to the new climatic realities.
