Description
Organoids are miniature and simplified versions of organs. Organs on a chip are microfluidic systems of tridimensional cell culture. Both are new and burgeoning technologies. These miniaturized tools, which replicate the physiological functions of tissues and organs, could be able to diagnose and model pathologies, test personalized treatments and accelerate drug conception. All of this while providing a serious alternative to animal experimentation.
