Diasporas play a major role in the economic growth of the African continent. This forum brings together voices from the East African and West African diasporas, specifically the Lebanese and Indian communities that have long been established in Africa. Together, they have helped shape dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems, structured by transnational networks and strong local roots. The discussion will highlight their contributions to trade, industry, services, and innovation, as well as their journeys, challenges, and the factors driving their success. Through these cross-cultural perspectives, this conversation will demonstrate how the diversity of these diasporas continues to create opportunities, invest in key sectors, and strengthen ties between Africa and the rest of the world.
