Description

The creation of new teams and the launch of new strategies by asset management firms require a clearer vision than ever before. Why launch a new team or a new strategy, and how can obstacles be overcome? How can a differentiated investment thesis be built and a well-structured team assembled? Which types of LPs should be targeted, what timeline should be set, and which arguments will be most convincing? What levers can be used to structure effectively from the early years? These are the key questions that will be addressed during this session, structured in three parts: a private LP will open the discussion by sharing their perspective on current challenges, followed by two panels—the first focused on the challenges of creating a management team launching its first fund, and the second dedicated to the diversification of asset management firms through the launch of new strategies. A lunchtime drinks reception is scheduled to take place after the session, from 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm.
