Description
At a time of ecological transition, the sustainable conversion of polluted soils which aims at reducing health and environmental risks, is a considerable issue for long-lasting and responsible territorial planning. Phytomanagement figures among the emerging methods for treating and managing polluted sites and soils on the market. It combines phytoremediation and valuation of the produced biomass, and allows for the reappropriation of these degraded areas while meeting the double requirement of environmental and socioeconomic performance. this intervention aims at overviewing different phytotechnologies and biomass valuation chains, currently in development, as well as their relevance (or not) in the management of polluted sites and soils.
