Description
As the major traditional economic hubs in the United States show signs of reaching saturation—both in terms of costs and regulatory complexity—the South is gradually emerging as a new center of economic and industrial attraction.
States such as Texas, Florida, and Tennessee are now attracting a growing share of investment, driven by a business environment that is particularly favorable to companies. This momentum is driven in particular by attractive tax policies—including the absence of income tax in several states—combined with a more flexible regulatory framework designed to accelerate innovation and encourage productive investment. Added to this is access to abundant and competitive energy, a key factor for the development of strategic industries.
The workshop will focus particularly on Texas, which has become a prime destination for industrial investment in major sectors such as hydrogen and advanced technologies. It will also highlight the strategic role of Florida, whose logistical positioning makes it a key gateway to emerging markets. The aim of this workshop is to identify the growth opportunities offered by these rapidly expanding regions and to analyze how investment strategies can be optimally adapted to them.
