Big 2026

Description

Founded in 1859 in the Lyon peninsula, Le Progrès based its mission on two principles: the usefulness of information and proximity to readers. After being one of the first regional daily newspapers to launch a website in 1996, then one of the first to launch a free newspaper in 2004 with Lyon Plus, Le Progrès is now embracing digital technology. Faced with the ubiquity of information and the proliferation of distribution channels, Le Progrès provides an appropriate and effective response through cross-media. As a continuous media outlet, a source of in-depth analysis and reflection, and a vehicle for interaction and participation, Le Progrès meets the expectations of an increasingly diverse, curious, and engaged readership, while preserving firmly established benchmarks and habits. It also allows advertisers to reach their potential customers in the most effective way possible. Since June 2023, the print version of the newspaper has adopted a new graphic charter: designed by Quintin Leeds, it promotes greater readability, clarity, and modernity. The layout of the articles, the new font, and the white background deliver optimal reading quality and enhance the photos.
