On the musical side, the segment of artists not signed to a record company is the one that is experiencing the strongest growth. There are now many ways of doing DIY: participatory financing, recording tools, social networks and self-distribution platforms. This is why a whole ecosystem is emerging around self-produced artists, with new service providers to support artists and the evolution of producers' positioning.
